American soul sensation Aloe Blacc has announced a tour of Australia following his Falls Festival performances in Tasmania and Melbourne and at Southbound in Western Australia.
The ‘Good Things’ tour will kick off on the 1st of January in Melbourne and will continue with theatre performances in Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide in the first week of January 2012.
With his mix of old soul sensibility and classic R&B musical styling Aloe Blacc is one of the most exciting artists to emerge in recent times. The unbelievably catchy track ‘I Need A Dollar’ is the first single taken from his second album Good Things and is tearing up the airwaves and charts both locally and overseas.
‘I Need A Dollar’ has reached an impressive No. 11 on the ARIA Charts and is still sitting in the Top 20 fourteen weeks after entering; it is clear that the Australian public are mad for Aloe. The Deluxe CD/DVD Edition of Good Things will hit stores late October (through Sony).
