A number of Amy Winehouse’s personal accoutrements will be on display in Melbourne, as part of an exhibition dedicated to her short life.

Amy Winehouse: A Family Portrait (1983-2011) has been showing in various Jewish Museums around the world, since its launch in London in 2013. It includes her personal record collection, a number of her outfits, and her guitar. Each item comes with a handwritten note from her brother, Alex, who helped curate the exhibition.

The exhibition will come to the Jewish Museum of Australia, in Melbourne, from October 22.

Winehouse died in 2011 of accidental alcohol poisoning, although her brother later contended this, saying he believed her death was a result of her bulimia. She was 27.
