Hot on the heels of glowing worldwide reviews, and his first solo show at Splendour In The Grass, Angus Stone adds further dates to his ‘Broken Brights Australian Tour’ – on sale tomorrow.
The tour kicks off this November and will take in major cities, regional centres and iconic summer festivals, including Homebake and Falls Festival.
Stepping out of the studio and onto the stage last week with his new band, Stone proved the charismatic front man, full of “pulling power” (The Music), mesmerising audiences with his unique blend of nostalgic rock and cowboy blues.
Showcasing his new record full of “energy and vigour” (Groupie Magazine) crowd favourites included ‘Bird On The Buffalo’, titular track ‘Broken Brights’, and the all whistling, all handclapping single ‘Wooden Chair’ – currently at radio.
Speaking of taking Broken Brights on tour, Stone says:
“Right now this is the most important thing to me. I’m proud of this record and I want to just keep playing it.”
