Animal Collective have been using their recent US tour to test the waters on new material. The band have debuted eight new tracks during their shows at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Monday, Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, New Mexico on Tuesday, and Rialto Theatre in Tucson Arizona on Wednesday.

As Stereogum reports, the band debuted at least eight new tracks: ‘Strangers’, ‘Gem And I’, ‘Cherokee’, ‘Dragon Slayer’, ‘Kings’ ‘Bolder’ and ‘Appreciate’. You can listen to fan-recorded versions of the tracks below.

The band’s last record came in the form of 2018’s visual album Tangerine Reef.

Earlier this month, Animal Collective’s Panda Bear released a brand new track, “playing the long game,” produced alongside Rusty Santos and Sebastian Sartor.
