Forever pushing boundaries, Venezuelan producer Arca has just unveiled his new, avant-garde video for ‘Xen’, the title track as well as the persona of his debut full length effort, which has been rendered in this nightmarish clip directed by frequent collaborator Jesse Kanda.

The ‘Xen’ clip is the latest in a long line of collaborations between Arca and Kanda, who’ve had a unique creative relationship that spans ten creatively lucrative years since they first met on the famous online art community deviantART.

Most recently, their partnership has produced works such as the TRAUMA series, Arca’s &&&&& mixtape, and Kanda’s acclaimed video for Arca’s ‘Thievery’ and ‘Now You Know’. Kanda also designed all of the artwork and accompanying imagery for the Xen LP.

Unveiled earlier this month to widespread critical acclaim and currently the feature album on Perth’s RTR FM, Xen is bound to be one of the defining debut albums of the year, unleashing Arca and Kanda’s singular sonic and visual universe on the world.
