Ariana Grande is the first female artist to achieve the huge feat.
On three separate albums, Ariana Grande has racked up more streams on Spotify than any other female artist – a whopping 3.5 billion.
As reported by Chart Data, Grande’s records My Everything, Dangerous Woman and thank u, next set the new record over the weekend, as Dangerous Woman passed the 3.5 billion mark.

The statistics website also noted that it has been a year since Grande’s ‘7 Rings’ made its debut at #1 on the Hot 100 charts, going on to become her longest charting #1 single to date.
The track, which scored two Grammy nominations that year, came under fire for plagiarism recently. Rapper Josh Stone has claimed that ‘7 Rings’ has lifted from his 2017 tune ‘You Need It, I Got It’.

At this year’s Grammy Awards, Grande lost out on the Album of the Year category to Billie Eilish and When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? During her acceptance speech, Eilish praised Grande and thank u, next, saying the pop singer deserved to win.
“Can I just say that I think Ariana deserves this,” Eilish said. “thank u, next got me through some shit. And I think it deserves more than anything in the world. I love you so much.”
