The A$AP Rocky saga appears to have no end in sight at the current time, with the rapper’s manager having his hotel room raided recently.
Last weekend, news came to light that US rapper A$AP Rocky had been placed in detention by Swedish police following his arrest over an alleged assault that took place days earlier.
Taking to Instagram last weekend, Rocky shared two videos of some unidentified men who were reportedly harassing him and his crew.
“We don’t know these guys and we didn’t want trouble, they followed us for 4 blocks, and they were slapping girls’ butts who passed, give me a break,” he noted, before later explaining that “we don’t want no problems with these boys, they keep following us.”
However, another video – acquired by TMZ – showed A$AP Rocky laying hands on one of the men, kicking and punching one of them after they had been thrown to the ground.

While news came to light that US officials are reportedly “actively monitoring” the situation as the rapper sits in a location akin to a “toilet”, it appears the troubles are far from over, with the manager of A$AP Rocky having his hotel room raided recently.
As Fox News reports, manager John Ehmann was surprised by Swedish police officers at his Stockholm hotel room recently, being served a search warrant.
Despite the fact that Ehmann was not anywhere near the location of the alleged assault, police reportedly seized his phone, requesting his passcode to examine its contents, though the exact reason for this is currently unknown.
A source told Fox that Ehmann had “had no idea what this was about”, explaining that he was “completely taken aback” by the early-morning search.
In related news, a number of people have signed a petition campaigning for the rapper’s release from detention.
With a goal of 1 million signatures, at the time of publication, the petition has seen over 580,000 people show their support, including Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Cara Delevigne, Jada Pinkett Smith, and many more.
“We are surprised that something like this could happen in Sweden to people who were minding their business and forced to defend themselves from a group of assailants,” the petition states.
“This should be about justice. Rocky has been in prison for six days for the use of self defense.”
