The organisers of The Farmer & The Owl 2015 have announced the event will be making its triumphant return to Wollongong on Saturday, 14th March for its highly anticipated sophomore instalment. Joining them for the celebrations will be Bad//Dreems, Drunk Mums, DZ Deathrays, Jebediah, The Peep Tempel, and more.

After The Farmer and The Owl’s inaugural event sold out back in November 2013, as well as earning the festival some fantastic reviews, lots of positive public feedback, and even an FBi SMAC Award nomination for ‘Best Event’, Farmer and The Owl will return to capitalise on that momentum by taking over the scenic University of Wollongong grounds.

The lineup will be spread over a number of indoor and outdoor stages and will feature a mix of local favourites from across Australia and a selection of international artists, including acts from the USA (Bass Drum Of Death), South Africa (PH Fat), and New Zealand (Carb On Carb, The DHDFD’s), with more to be announced.

To kick off ticket sales for this year’s event, organisers are offering an Aussie music festival first by releasing a limited allocation of first release tickets on a ‘Pay What You Like’ basis. In a reaction to the over-commercialisation of music and the arts, Farmer and The Owl fans will be able to decide how much they want to pay.

Once this ticket allocation is exhausted tickets will then revert to the normal ticket pricing until sold out. Second release tickets will be available for a very reasonable $69 + booking fee, while third release tickets will run you $79 + booking fee. Readers can check below for all ticketing details.

But that’s not all that makes The Farmer and The Owl 2015 unique. Organisers have introduced a new concept for 2015, The Imaginarium, billed as an uninhabited world of unique and vibrant creativity.
