Guns N’ Roses recently had to cut a concert short Abu Dhabi after he fell “severely ill” 20 songs into the bands traditionally 28-song set. Prior to that concert, Axl Rose gave a rare interview to a local media outlet Atlas – where he revealed who he believes are the greatest band and frontman ever.

In the interview, Rose was questioned about who he believes the greatest frontman of all time is, to which he replied, “For me, it’s easy – Queen is the greatest band and Freddie is the greatest frontman of all time. The band are the greatest because they embraced so many different styles.”

Back in 1992, Guns N’ Roses featured at The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at London’s Wembley Stadium. Axl Rose joined the remaining Queen members and Elton John to belt out a rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. Check out the footage below.
