Adelaide’s pubrock kings Bad//Dreems have just dropped the video to their latest offering ‘My Only Friend’ which highlights a different side to this dynamic band and exercises a more reflective tone that explores deeper themes of isolation, loss and self-doubt. Once again the band teamed up with legendary producer Mark Opitz (AC/DC, Cold Chisel, The Angels, INXS), a man who is by no means a stranger to a hit or two.
The video for ‘My Only Friend’ was pieced together with footage collected from the band and footage shot by fans. It shows Bad//Dreems on the road, playing shows and doing what they do best – being a band. The band will be heading up to Brisbane for Bigsound in September, right after that they’ll be doing another run of headline shows in support of ‘My Only Friend’ then heading to the airport the very next day for their maiden voyage to the USA. Whilst in America they’ll be dropping via LA to share the stage with Cloud Nothings at Culture Collide Festival and then showcasing their wares around the rest of the country throughout October.
