In their endless pursuit to make this an album of innovation, Brisbane indie rockers Ball Park Music have released the video for their latest single ‘Whipping Boy’ using Tilt Brush – a new virtual reality painting application. The clip was entirely born and drawn by frontman Sam Cromack, who worked with director Jaymis Loveday to create a psychedelic trip through the cosmos for the video.

Tilt Brush – crated by Google – uses a Vive headset, controllers and base station, and allows the user to paint life-size three-dimensional brush strokes, stars, light and even fire, to create a world of virtual reality. ‘Whipping Boy’ could be the first music video created using this technology, where audio-reactive brushes cause the art to actually respond to the song.

‘Whipping Boy’ is the latest single off Ball Park Music’s highly anticipated fourth album ‘Every Night The Same Dream’ due on August 19, with the band are running around the country on a national headline tour to promote it.
