Bandcamp has unveiled a brand new vinyl pressing service. The service will allow artists to drive crowdfunding campaigns for vinyl pressings of their music.

The service aims to “streamline” the production of vinyl. Once an artists campaign reaches its goal, Bandcamp will produce and ship the record directly to fans.

“Our new vinyl pressing service streamlines the financing, production, and fulfillment of vinyl records. With no up-front investment, an artist or label can create a vinyl campaign and start taking orders almost immediately,” an announcement for the service reads. “Once they reach their minimum goal, we press their records and ship them to their fans.”

Bandcamp has launched its new service with four vinyl campaigns.  Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah’s Ancestral Recall, Jim Guthrie’s Below (Original Soundtrack), Juliette Jade’s Constellation, and Mesarthim’s Ghost Condensate.
