After months of anticipation, Beck fans finally have a date to look forward to, with the musical chameleon announcing the arrival of his forthcoming album Hyperspace.
It feels like just yesterday Beck was releasing Colors, the follow-up to his 2014 Grammy Award-winning record Morning Phase. A euphoric explosion of sound, Colors saw Beck at his best once again, delivering amazing tunes, and backing it up with a phenomenal live show.
Since then, he’s been on the road almost constantly, but has apparently still found time to dish out a few new tracks. After sharing songs for the soundtracks to The Lego Movie 2 and Roma, Beck returned in April with his latest single, ‘Saw Lightning’.
Described as the lead single from his forthcoming album Hyperspace, details were fairly scarce, though the record was said to be arriving at “some point in the space-time continuum”.

Now, after months of waiting and teasing fans with cryptic artwork, Beck has revealed that his 14th record will see its official release on November 22nd.
Beck’s most collaborative effort to date, much of the record (including ‘Saw Lightning’ and new single ‘Uneventful Days’) was co-written and co-produced with Pharrell Williams, who adds his musical Midas touch to the mix.
Elsewhere though, Hyperspace sees Beck working with frequent collaborator Greg Kurstin, while working alongside the likes of Paul Epworth, Chris Martin, Terrell Hines, Cole M.G.N., and Sky Ferreira, meaning that this is going to be one of the most exciting Beck records you’ve heard to date.
Pre-orders for the record are available now, with new single ‘Uneventful Days’ being delivered with each order. To celebrate the release, Beck has also shared audio-only clips for this new single, along with album-opener ‘Hyperlife’. Check out all the details below.
