Beyond The Valley is set to return to Warragul, in Victoria, this New Year’s Eve for what its organisers are calling “its biggest instalment yet”. Now, the festival has unleashed their first act, and it’s a pretty good indication of just how big this year is going to be.

ScHoolboy Q has been announced as the first act of the festival, just a couple of weeks after he was announced on the lineup for Perth’s Origin NYE festival. Having released his fourth record, Blank Face, last year, ScHoolboy Q is undoubtedly going to be delivering an awesome set for punters to enjoy as they ring in the new year.

Following an amazing festival last year that saw the likes of Chance The Rapper, DZ Deathrays, Hot Chip, and Dune Rats entertain the huge crowd, it feels like it will be a hard one to top. So obviously we’re pretty keen to see what else Beyond The Valley have in store for us.

With the full lineup set to drop soon, now’s the time to get excited. Tickets for the festival go on sale Thursday, so get your party poppers and your sleeping bags ready – this New Year’s Eve is going to be a big.
