We can’t even remember what sort of songs we were all writing at 15, but it certainly wasn’t anything we’d want to listen back on now. LA singer Billie Eilish, on the other hand, is already set to dominate pop music this year at a ridiculously young age.

Her breakout track ‘Ocean Eyes’ put her firmly on the map almost a year ago when she was only 14, and her new single ‘Bellyache’ is just as stunning, with a depth and maturity to it not often found in such a young artist.

Fans of Aurora or Lana Del Rey will fall in love with the gorgeous low-key pop and subtle earworm melodies, as the song shifts from gentle acoustic backing to a pulsating crescendo in the chorus, all anchored around that voice.

If this is what she’s putting together now, we can’t wait to hear what Billie will be crafting at the Lorde-ly age of 17. Give ‘Bellyache’ a spin below.
