That’s right rock and roll fans, THE BLACK KEYS, the hottest band on the planet these days has sold out it’s first Sydney engagement at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.

To keep the good people of New South Wales happy, the band have added an extra show on Tuesday October 23. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 9am on Friday June 15. The show has a general admission floor section to allow fans to get down and dirty, and close to their heros during the show, so get online or to an outlet real quick next Friday.

THE BLACK KEYS latest smash hit, “Gold On The Ceiling”, from their platinum selling seventh album “El Camino”, is rapidly rising to the top of the charts just like the last tune, “Lonely Boy”. This album just will not stop!

Fresh from Johnny Depp playing with them at the MTV Movie Awards to headlining Coachella, and soon Lollapalooza, the band continues in its majestic and powerful transformation from a 2 piece garage band playing small clubs to being worthy headliners of arenas and festivals.

It’s a feat that could not be more just or complete and proves that the pure combination of good times, great music and grit can still turn to gold.

Rest assured, you haven’t see a show like THE BLACK KEYS show before. The show features huge visuals from 20 projectors, giant mirror balls, and all the hits from their deep and consistently awesome back catalogue. The extra Sydney show adds to an already hot selling run of dates in Newcastle, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne as well as a headlining appearance at Perth’s Rock It Festival.

Joining the band on all shows will be Sydney’s outstanding ROYAL HEADACHE. These zeitgeist-straddling purveyors of DIY garage soul are the most exciting musical thing happening in our country right now. Their debut self titled album of last year was highly loved and rated by all from the ‘burbs to the inner city hipsters. Get there early to experience and believe their power.
