Bluesfest 2018 is just around the corner, it’s hard to believe the already stacked lineup could possibly increase in sheer epicness. Garnering a rep for showcasing the world’s premier acts in blues, folk and more, Bluesfest have truly lived up to their global status as a can’t-miss festival.

Joining Ms. Lauryn Hill, Robert Plant, Tash Sultana and more on 2018’s massive lineup are six artists who are sure to keep Australian experts on all things rootsy and groovy very entertained.

Rounding out the announcement is Australian festival favourite, Dan Sultan who’ll be bringing his signature throwback guts and glory approach to rock n roll that’s rendered him one of the country’s most prolific songwriters. All Our Exes Live In Texas, who feature on fellow Bluesfest performer Kesha’s track ‘Praying’ will also appear, bringing their glorious harmonies and mellow styling to a very appropriate setting.

Oz-Blues pioneers, Chain, will celebrate 50 years as a band on the coveted stages of the Byron Bay Parklands whilst Con Brio will hold it down for classic soul sounds. Also joining the lineup is  Mia Dyson, Shaun Kirk, Caiti Baker, Steve Smyth, Dog Trumpet, Hanlon Brothers.
