Bowled Over Summer Series – Goes National with Bands, Beers, BBQ & Lawn Bowls In Melbourne & Sydney

Tone Deaf launched their Bowled Over Summer Series back in 2012 with a sold out party to celebrate Triple J’s Hottest 100 Countdown on Australia Day at the iconic St Kilda Bowls Club in Melbourne, serving up some of Melbourne’s best up and coming bands and DJs, beers and ciders BBQ delights & the hugely popular barefoot bowling.

Bringing the party to Bringing the party to Marrickville Bowls Club for the very first time will be Ballarat natives Yacht Club DJs, who have earned their reputation as Australia’s foremost mash-up act with their mixture of pop to metal and hip-hop. The pair keep their fans close, by only releasing underground mixtapes, and spreading their love through killer sets at festivals such as Splendour In The Grass, Meredith Music Festival, Falls Festival, as well as personal invites on tours with the likes of Mumford & Son’s on their Gentlemen Of The Road tour at the end for 2012.

Doing the band thing will be Sydney shred-rockers Step-Panther who will bring a bit of mayhem with tracks off their recently released ‘Dreamcrusher’ EP that was recorded in Berlin and Sydney. Local up and comers Sures along with garage rockers Bloods, Driffs and The Walking Who will be popping the cherry on the Bowled Over Sydney stage along with some very special guest DJs still to be announced.
