Those who turned up at Paul Rodgers’ ‘Free Spirit’ show in Oxford on Sunday night witnessed a rare treat: three of rock’s most legendary vocalists trading verses on Barrett Strong’s 1959 classic, ‘Money (That’s What I Want)‘.
It’s heartening to see Brain Johnson returning to the stage after his lengthy absence from AC/DC due to hearing loss. Hopefully he will be back in black, and on the road for AC/DC in the near future.
Then maybe Axl can get back to writing Chinese Democracy II or Use Your Illusion III or whatever he’s up to these days.
