BROCKHAMPTON are getting closer to release their new album, dropping their latest song, ‘If You Pray Right’, earlier today.

Last week, BROCKHAMPTON shared the first official single from their upcoming fifth album, Ginger. Titled ‘I Been Born Again’, the tune was a perfect continuation of the style showcased on 2018’s Iridescence.

Now, the “best boyband since One Direction” have delivered the goods once again, releasing the next tune from their upcoming record, sharing ‘If You Pray Right’ earlier today.

Featuring some stunning production, exceptional vocal delivery from the group’s members, and backed up by a surreal yet visually-stunning Kevin Abstract-directed video, the tune is on track to be one of the outfit’s best of 2019.

While no specific release date has been offered up just yet, ‘If You Pray Right’ will feature on Ginger when it is released sometime this month.

In regards to the new record’s sound, leader Kevin Abstract recently explained he wanted to make a “summer album” likely inspired by Outkast.

“We want to make a summer album. Feel-good. Not too sad and like, ‘Oh, our life sucks,’ just more like, ‘Just enjoy what’s in front of you’,” Abstract explained.

“Something we’re doing is putting those type of lyrics — like this shit is trash, anxiety, depression, all that stuff — taking those type of lyrics and putting it on a song that a bunch of people could dance to or something. It’s just like ‘Hey Ya!’ My favorite song ever. It’s basically that.”

In related news, BROCKHAMPTON were recently revealed as the first act of a stacked FOMO 2020 lineup, which will hit Aussie shores this January, and will see the group performing a special sideshow in Perth while they’re in town.
