Get ready to boogie, because the best boyband since One Direction are headlining FOMO, with BROCKHAMPTON set to make their return to the country next year.
Last year, Australians were finally treated to the majesty of the hip-hop collective that is BROCKHAMPTON. In the country for the Listen Out festival, the group not only recorded two new music videos while in the country, but also performed one of the most enigmatic Like A Versions to date.
Since this inaugural trip down under, BROCKHAMPTON have been a bit quiet, with leader Kevin Abstract forced to deny rumours they had broken up while he works on solo material.
However, any notion that the critically acclaimed musicians had split has since been forgotten, with BROCKHAMPTON formally announcing their return to Australia as part of the 2020 FOMO festival.
Kicking off on January 4th in Brisbane, the FOMO festival will be hitting up Adelaide, Sydney, and Melbourne over the coming week, undoubtedly dishing up some stunning sets that audiences won’t soon forget.
Of course, Perth fans won’t be left out of the mix, with BROCKHAMPTON announcing a headline stop in WA on January 10th.
While fans are undoubtedly hoping that the Texas-via-California rap collective might announce a few more sideshows while they’re in the country (let’s face it, it seemed like they didn’t want to leave last year), the FOMO festival isn’t quite done yet, with the remainder of its lineup set to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
Considering that the 2019 event boasted a lineup that included Nicki Minaj, Kali Uchis, Rae Sremmurd, and Mura Masa, you can be sure that BROCKHAMPTON are just the tip of a very exciting iceberg.
Tickets to BROCKHAMPTON’s Perth sideshow go on sale Wednesday, June 12th, with FOMO early bird tickets going on sale the same day. General public onsale kicks off on June 29th, while venue and lineup details are set to arrive in the coming weeks.
