Parramatta will shine a spotlight on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women at this year’s Burramatta NAIDOC on Sunday July 15th at Parramatta.

“This year’s theme, ‘Because of her, we can!’, recognises the invaluable contribution Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have made – and continue to make – to our communities, families and our culture.”

The event will feature performances by Indigenous artists including singer-songwriter Casey Donovan; a traditional corroboree ground for storytelling; dance; market stalls and a free sausage sizzle. The event will close with a spectacular fireworks display.
