The Age Music Victoria Awards will celebrate its 11th year as one of the Australian music industry’s most coveted honours with a huge lineup of some of Victoria’s finest musical talent at 170 Russell on Wednesday, 16th November.

This year’s awards will fall within the Melbourne Music Week program. The awards will take place earlier in the evening so punters and industry pundits alike can make their way down to the massive after party.

The after party will feature live performances from the Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Camp Cope, and Tash Sultana, as well as members of the RockWiz Band being joined by The EG AllStars, Paul Dempsey, Remi, Gareth Liddiard, and many more.

In addition to a range of awards honouring the best in Victorian music talent, Music Victoria and The Age will welcome iconic community broadcaster Triple R 102.7FM into The Age Music Victoria Hall of Fame.

“We’re thrilled to hear that Triple R is being inducted into the hall of fame in line with our 40th Birthday in November this year, and following on from the Skull Cave’s Stephen ‘The Ghost’ Walker’s induction a few years ago,” said station manager Dave Houchin.

Check below for all the dates and ticketing details. $5 from every ticket sold will be donated to charity partner Support Act Limited, which has received almost $50,000 from the event over the last ten years.
