Cat Power has announced rescheduled dates for her Melbourne performances at the Recital Centre after postponing her Australian tour last month, citing issues stemming from her battle against Hereditary Angioedema.

The acclaimed singer and songwriter will now perform at Elisabeth Murdoch Hall on Sunday, 22nd May and Monday, 23rd May. No further rescheduled dates, including those for Adelaide, Sydney, Bendigo, Brisbane, and Lismore, have been announced.

“I’ve been looking forward for so long to return to my home away from home and I wasn’t going to let this debilitating illness deprive me or anyone else of that opportunity. I’m so glad to be making it back to Australia,” said Power in a statement.

Tickets to both Melbourne shows are available now via the Recital Centre. Tickets purchased for the previous shows are valid for these new dates and ticket-holders have been contacted by the venue.
