Problematic singer Chris Brown was arrested on Thursday evening on a felony battery charge.
The 29-year-old was taken into custody immediately after his show in West Palm Beach. The arrest relates to an incident that took place in a Florida nightclub in April 2017. Which saw Brown allegedly punched the nightclubs in-house photographer. The photographer involved in the incident suffered a split lip.
He was booked and released after posting a US $2000 bond. He took to Twitter to announce that his show in Tampa, Florida would go on as scheduled.

Brown has a history of violence. With multiple assault charges pressed against him in recent years. Including an assault with a deadly weapon charge in 2016 and a felony assault charge of then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
The singer has been banned from entering Australia since 2015.
