C.O.F.F.I.N Tell Their Story in New Documentary

C.O.F.F.I.N are looking back on more than two decades of their history in their new feature-length documentary, 10,000 Miles From Oslo.

Following a run of limited cinema screenings across Australia, Europe, the UK and US, the film is now streaming exclusively via Rolling Stone AU/NZ for 24 hours, before its public release on YouTube tomorrow.

Created by Jake Laderman and Scott Marrinan, 10,000 Miles From Oslo follows C.O.F.F.I.N from childhood friends making noise on Sydney’s Northern Beaches to becoming one of Australia’s most respected rock exports. The documentary also features contributions from figures across the Australian punk scene and follows the band’s journey to Norway, where their forthcoming sixth album, Out In Oslo, took shape.

Due out September 18th via King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard’s p(doom) records, Out In Oslo features the recent singles “13 Days”, “Sleep In It”, and “Think Bad”.

Produced by Declan Mehrtens (Amyl and the Sniffers), with vocals co-produced by Jason Whalley (Frenzal Rhomb), the record explores Australian identity, community, environmentalism and injustice while expanding on the hard rock sound that has defined the band.

The band will take Out In Oslo on the road in February and March 2027 for their biggest Australian headline shows to date, with dates scheduled for Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Hobart.
