Corey Taylor has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to his late peer Chris Cornell with a rousing cover of Audioslave’s ‘Getaway Car’. This comes just after members of Prophets Of Rage, Serj Tankian and Pearl Jam have honoured the Soundgarden frontman’s legacy nearing the one-year anniversary of his passing.
The Slipknot and Stone Sour monolith uploaded the piano rendition of the track to his Instagram page with the caption, “A little tribute to a sorely missed artist #cornell”. Watch it below.

Last week in New Zealand, Prophets Of Rage paid tribute to Chris with System Of A Down’s Serj Tankian, with Tom Morello saying “Not too long ago we lost a very good friend of ours, Chris Cornell. Please show him some appreciation.”
