Things can start going all over the place when you get ‘Day Drunk.’
And in the case of the brand new music video from Morgan Evans, they’ve literally gone backwards!
Shot completely in reverse, the hit single’s new video required Evans to learn to sing the entirety of ‘Day Drunk’ backwards.
Apparently this was quite a challenge. But Evans was determined to get the job done and ploughed though.
‘Day Drunk’ was a #1 Australian single for 26 weeks last year as well as being a massive pop hit.
It’s now also approaching the top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country chart in the USA.
It follows ‘Kiss Somebody’ which went all the way to #1 on the Billboard charts, which saw Evans become the first Australian artist since Keith Urban to achieve the milestone.

Evans will head back to Australia shortly for the local leg of his world tour.
In the meantime, he’s currently enjoying the US summer touring season with Rascal Flatts.
