Brisbane sister-trio and now Nashville based Aussie exports Dozzi are this week celebrating the release of their new EP, Worth The Wait.

The five-track bundle was produced by Eric Torres.

He is also the producer of the Jimmie Allen hits ‘Best Shot’ and ‘Make Me Want To.’

It is believed that over 100 people are currently moving to Nashville each day.

And a significant portion of those people move there for exactly the same reasons Dozzi did…

…to pursue their musical dreams in the world’s song writing and country music capital.

The girls have now established a solid base for themselves in the highly competitive city.

They currently play weekly shows in some of Nashville’s premier downtown venues.

“We have been in bands since we were 12 years old and have been “Dozzi” for 10 years,” said Dozzi.

“But when we first went to Nashville, nobody knew who we were, it was like starting from scratch again.”

“We have had to prove ourselves to people all over again. But all of these struggles have led as to where we are and we wouldn’t change one thing,” they say.

Dozzi say the move has had a significant influence on their sound and direction.

“Since we moved to Nashville, we’ve been experimenting with our sound,” say Dozzi.

“When you live in a big music hub surrounded by hundreds of other artists, it’s impossible not to be influenced by all the different creative people around you.”

“We are now fortunate enough to have access to the world’s greatest songwriters which has helped us grow as songwriters as well. We’ve pushed to the limit musicalily, from a business sense and also personally, which inevitably has helped developed what Dozzi has become.”

Dozzi are the latest Aussie exports to join the likes of Morgan Evans and Seaforth and gain attention in the US market.

They released the EP’s first single ‘Fools’ in June.

And that song immediately caught the attention of Rolling Stone.

“This is modern country-pop at its most Millennial-friendly,” they said.

Locally, the song also enjoyed playlist love from both Spotify (Fresh Country) and Apple Music (A-List Country).

They followed that up with Ramones T-Shirt, which is enjoying fantastic support in Australia on both radio and CMC.

In fact, ‘Ramones T-shirt’ currently features in the national Country Hot 50.

With the release of the Worth The Wait latest Friday, Billboard are latest big-time global media outlet to endorse the trio.

“The siblings’ impeccable harmonies stand out as heard on the poignant title track, heartfelt piano ballad ‘Red Eye,’ and feel-good EDM-infused ‘Fools,’” they wrote.

“Blending elements of pop, country and EDM, sisters Jesse, Nina and Andrea Dozzi leave their mark on listeners,” they continued.

With the Worth The Wait EP now released, Andrea, Nina and Jesse Dozzi will soon be heading home to Brisbane for Christmas.

“We’ll be hanging out at Mum and Dad’s house with fun, family, friends and of course… “Dozzi Fried Chicken” for Christmas lunch,” say Dozzi.

“We haven’t visited in two and a half years so we are looking forward to some downtime, sunshine and getting re-energized for 2020!”

As for their future plans?

“We will hopefully release new music into the universe in 2020,” they say.

“We would also love to do a tour of as much of the world as we can so we can meet and play for all our new fans and for the loyal ones who have stuck by our side from the beginning.”

Dozzi’s Worth The Wait EP is out now.
