Tasmania’s most celebrated musical act, The Wolfe Brothers have announced a move to BMG Australia and Broken Bow Records for their upcoming releases.

Tom and Nick Wolfe will release their first single with BMG, titled ‘No Brakes’ this Friday April 17.

“This signing and new release is a huge milestone for us and we could not have gotten here without the support of every one of you!” said the band when announcing the news to fans.

“Thank you! We can’t wait to begin this new chapter with you all!”

The Wolfe Brothers’ most recent album, Country Heart, released via ABC Music, won Album of the Year at the 2018 Golden Guitar Awards.

It included the popular singles ‘Ain’t Seen It Yet,’ ‘Country Heart,’ ‘Storm Rollin In,’ ‘Hey Brother’ and ‘No Sad Song.’

The Wolfe Brothers formally became a duo recently, following the recent resignation of guitarist Brodie Rainbird.

“This has not been an easy decision for Brodie to make but he needs to follow his heart, put more effort into his solo music and do what’s right for him,” said the band at the time.

Rainbird however is still the band’s live lead guitarist.
