As Crooked Colours gear up to hit the stage this weekend, the Perth trio have given us an insight into some of their favourite places to let loose in their hometown.

Ever since Crooked Colours hit the scene early last decade, the world of Aussie music has been a far brighter (perhaps even colourful) place. With their infectious fusion of indie and electronic music, the outfit has made a name for themselves as one of Perth’s premier partystarters.

This weekend though, the WA three-piece are set to return to the live stage as they help to kick off the 2021 edition of Coopers Live, Loud and Local. Beginning last year with livestreamed shows in the wake of COVID, this year sees the gigs taking on a physical presence, with the likes of Crooked Colours, Bad//Dreems, and The Rubens all performing to ravenous crowds, hungry for live music.

To kick things off, Crooked Colours will be hitting up Hotel Rottnest in Perth for a typically-raucous live set. While it’s a stunning venue with a strong following, have you ever thought about all the other places that the band are fond of?

With the band getting back into the swing of things, they’ve been kind enough to give us a quick rundown of their favourite local haunts in Perth.

Maybe you’re a local in need of a new place to check out, or maybe you’re an interstate traveller keen to check out the band’s favourite spots on your WA musical pilgramage, or maybe you’re in need of knowing the places in Perth that need to be known. Either way, the Crooked Colours folks have you covered!
