DaBaby broke down his confrontation with Brandon Bills at an LA bowling alley and how the incident continues to affect him.

Last month, a video came out showing DaBaby and his crew beating on Brandon Bills at an LA bowling alley. Bills, who is the brother of DaBaby’s ex, DaniLeigh, is seen taking the first hit from DaBaby, taking a hail of blows, and a kick to the head while already on the ground. On The Breakfast Club radio, DaBaby talked about the situation.

DJ Envy begins by saying, “Now even in California, recently at the Superbowl you got into an incident, and people were saying it was self-defense right?”

“Yeah incident got into me,” Dababy said with a smile.

“Somebody threatened you? Somebody threatened you-”

“Incident go into me, you know what I’m talkin bout?” he continued, to laughter from Charlamagne the God.

“Somebody threatened you online and pulled up to a place that you were.” says DJ Envy

DaBaby said, “For several months I was scared as hell, I was…”

“Now what happened in the incident cause I hear he’s suing you for it.”

DaBaby, “Yeah, man, I don’t know how the world work today. Ya feel me? But I’m still scared of the situation now man. I heard it was gonna be rough on me, so I don’t really wanna speak on that. N **** might pop up downstairs.”

Charlamagne the God cut in and said, “No, he told you that you couldn’t come to LA! He said it was on sight when he see you.”

“I stayed away from LA for some months behind that too. But I sure hope I don’t got to run into him again.”

“Nah I’m saying people don’t understand PTSD for real. No for real!” Charlamagne the God says.

The room, at that point, broke up into laughter as DJ Envy realized DaBaby was playing sheepish.

Charlamagne’s voice finally breaks through the raucous laughter reaffirming his previous point of Dababy being terrified of the situation.

DaBaby and Angela Yee continue, moving the conversation towards how the situation affects the Cleveland rapper’s daughter.
