Fair Ohs’ debut album is aptly named: Everything Is Dancing does make you feel like everyone (and everything) should be dancing. Although it’s their debut album, the band members have all had experience in the UK indie scene, and their sound is polished without sounding overly commercial.

Melodic guitar riffs combined with African beats and sincere, cheery vocals from the lead singer makes for addictive listening.

It’s hard to pigeonhole them, as they seem to draw influences from Fleetwood Mac to Vampire Weekend. With the poppy sweetness of a Top 40 hit wrapped up in an eclectic, funky blanket of indie punk, Everything Is Dancing is irresistibly fun and one of the best pop/punk albums out at the moment.
