Back in June 2015, Foo Fighters were shredding their way through a blistering set in front of a crowd of 52,000 in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was during the second song of the set, ‘Monkey Wrench’, where Dave Grohl accidentally fell off the front of the stage.

The fall left Grohl’s leg broken, and he was forced to explain to the audience that the band would have to cancel the show because he needed medical attention. However, Grohl returned to stage two songs later to perform a cover of the Queen and David Bowie’s track ‘Under Pressure’ whilst sitting on a chair.

Grohl was forced to take continuous trips backstage to receive medical attention and cast his leg up, but none of that stopped the rock legend. Grohl ended that set with the now iconic line  “I may not be able to walk or run. But I can still play guitar and scream.”
