Foo Fighters have kept details of their forthcoming new album under wraps. Clues have been scarce, and until know we hadn’t heard much from the rockers apart from the fact the new record is “fucking weird”.

Now, in a new interview with Kerrang, everyone’s favourite rock dad Dave Grohl has offered a few more delectable details about the band’s follow up to 2017’s Concrete And Gold.

“We just finished another fucking record, and I’m so fucking proud of it,” revealed Grohl. “It’s unlike anything we’ve ever done.”

“I’m fucking excited for people to hear it and I can’t wait to jump on that fucking stage to play it. There are choruses on this record that 50-fucking-thousand people are gonna sing, and it’s gonna bring everyone’s fucking hearts together in that moment. And that’s what it’s all about.”

There’s been no word yet as to when we can expect the band’s tenth album to drop but we’re hoping they don’t keep us waiting too long.

This year, Foo Fighters will celebrate their 25th anniversary as a band. To commemorate the occasion, the band are heading across North America throughout April and May on The Van Tour. You can find tour dates below.
