Deep Sea Arcade have had an incredible run so far this year, with no signs of slowing down. Their debut long playerOutlands was released in March to critical acclaim and is continuing to win new fans across the globe every day.
The radio loves Deep Sea Arcade, not just in Australia but USA too (currently No.50 on the CMJ top 200 charts), as well as UK, Germany, Spain and Japan. Their Outlands tour in June sold out across the country with most of the major city venues having to turn away punters in droves. So the Sydney 5-piece plan to step things up a notch this November with their Granite City tour proudly presented by Triple J.
As with recent singles “Seen No Right” and “Steam”, “Granite City” has hooks more infectious than the common cold and is fast becoming a live favourite at their shows.
Currently on tour with Bluejuice throughout August, Deep Sea Arcade head over to the UK and Europe next month to play at Hamburg’s Reeperbahn Festival and then a string of shows across Europe and UK whereOutlands will be released through New Music Club/Rough Trade.
The Granite City tour will be heading through major cities, starting with Melbourne on November 9. It will be their last headline tour before they disappear into the studio early next year to record their highly anticipated follow up album. Don’t Be Sorry you missed it!
