Diplo has reportedly filed a lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend Shelly Auguste, claiming that she has subjected him and his family to prolonged harassment.

As reported by TMZ, Diplo has filed documentation that alleges ex-girlfriend Auguste is a “relentless and unstable fan who manipulated herself into” his life back in 2019.

In documentation obtained by TMZ, Diplo accuses Auguste of harassing him and his family with sexually inappropriate messages via fake social media accounts.

According to Diplo, Auguste began bombarding him with messages after their relationship ended sometime last year.

As reported by TMZ, Diplo went on to allege that Auguste engaged in revenge porn by sending sexually explicit photos and videos of him to his friends and family.

On top of that, he claimed that he was forced to sell his house last month after she repeatedly showed up at the property uninvited.

Auguste also allegedly sent another ex-partner of Diplo’s racist messages earlier this month.

According to TMZ, Diplo first got a restraining order against Auguste back in December, and she also obtained a temporary restraining order against him.

Reportedly, Auguste made her own allegations of revenge porn against Diplo, before her restraining order on him was eventually thrown out.

Diplo is now reported to be suing Auguste for stalking, trespassing and distribution of private materials.

In a statement, his attorney Bryan Freedman told TMZ that he and his family had been “harassed, stalked and abused by Ms Auguste for far too long”.

“It’s time for the courts to step in and put an end to her appalling and dangerous behaviour,” said Freedman.

However, Auguste went on to tell TMZ that she did not send the racist messages mentioned in the lawsuit, and claimed that Diplo’s filing was ‘revenge” for her restraining order against him.

She also went on to allege that they first came into contact in 2014, and their relationship didn’t begin in 2019.

On top of that, she also told PEDESTRIAN.TV that her restraining order was not “thrown out,” instead claiming Diplo’s lawyers asked for it to be “[settled] in private”.

“Diplo does NOT have a restraining order against me. I filed one against him initially and his lawyers asked that we settle it in private. We now have a mutual private order/agreement between the two of us,” she said.
