Australian rock icon and Divinyls front woman Chrissie Amphlett was diagnosed with breast cancer last year but in fantastic news she’s announced that she’s beaten the disease. Last week she announced on her Facebook fan page “Hi everyone as of last Friday I am officially Cancer Free.!!!!”
She then later also paused to reflect, “Today, I have no answers. I only know that I was given a chance to reflect on my own mortality; given a chance to choose life over the fear of death.” Amphlett is also suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, which makes performing a huge challenge for her.
