A DMA’s Australian Tour 2014 has been announced as the Newtown-bred, UK-influenced three-piece hit the road this September and October.
Since signing with I OH YOU in February this year, DMA’s have been one of Australia’s most hyped bands – releasing their debut EP, signing with Primary Talent UK, debuting at #7 in the iTunes Album Charts, and with two singles already being added to Triple J, they’ve barely even started and the buzz is loud!
Blur’s Dave Rowntree praised them as having “the swagger of Oasis and the musicality and inventiveness of Arctic Monkeys.” NME hailed them for the “Antipodean sheen of frizzing garage-pop riffs that swelter with the same sun-drenched aura of Splashh.”

Having just played at Splendour In The Grass on Friday to a heaving crowd at the GW McLennan Tent, and with their last tour completely selling out in no time – DMA’s take their acclaimed live performances Australia-wide playing shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Fremantle.
Coming along for the ride on the DMA’s Australian Tour 2014 as special guests is The Creases. Earning their own buzz thanks to their finely crafted, infectious garage-pop, the Brisbane five-piece recently dropped their debut EP, Gradient, to some very satisfactory ears.
