Doechii has withdrawn from three major European festival performances scheduled for this weekend, leaving organisers scrambling to address disappointed fans.

The US rapper was set to appear at All Points East in London on August 23rd, Rock en Seine in France on August 21st, and Bristol’s Forwards Festival on August 24th.

All three festivals announced the cancellations simultaneously on Monday, though none provided specific reasons for Doechii’s withdrawal.

All Points East issued a statement on Instagram expressing regret over the situation: “Unfortunately, Doechii will no longer be able to perform at All Points East on Saturday, August 23rd. We’d like to apologise to any disappointed fans and hope to welcome Doechii to All Points East in the future.”

The festival’s statement notably mentioned that Doechii would “no longer be performing at her upcoming shows,” indicating the cancellations extend beyond just their event to include the French and Bristol dates. This coordinated announcement suggests the decision to cancel was made recently, given the proximity to the performance dates.

The timing proves particularly challenging for festival-goers who specifically purchased tickets to see the rapper perform. Rock en Seine, one of France’s premier music festivals, and Forwards Festival, which celebrates emerging talent alongside established acts, both face the task of maintaining audience satisfaction without their scheduled performer.

Doechii’s recent performance schedule had been intensive, with appearances at Belgium’s Pukkelpop festival on August 17th, followed by major American festivals including Outside Lands in San Francisco and Lollapalooza in Chicago earlier this month.

The rapper recently announced her ‘Live From the Swamp’ tour, scheduled to begin in North America during October. She described the upcoming tour as “the final chapter of this era” on Instagram, referencing her Alligator Bites Never Heal album which celebrated its first anniversary. “This project turned one and before I disappear to create the next world, I’m going back on tour,” she explained to fans.

Despite the European cancellations, Doechii remains scheduled to perform at the All Things Go festivals in New York City and Columbia, Maryland in September. She’s then set to visit Australia to perform across the country as part of the Spilt Milk 2025 lineup.
