On Tuesday morning it was reported that the Cranberries legendary frontwoman, Dolores O’Riordan had passed away, aged 46.
Police revealed they were treating the death as “sudden” and “unexplained”, however more details surrounding her final days have begun to unearth.
As reported by TMZ, Dolores was “dreadfully depressed” in recent weeks, and was also “suffering with a lot of back pain” as told by her close friends.
O’Riodan had opened up in the past about her struggles with depression saying in an interview with the Irish News in 2017 “the death of my father and mother-in-law was very hard. Looking back, I think depression, whatever the cause, is one of the worst things to go through”
An interview from 2013 has also been revealed in which O’Riordan gave a haunting death prediction, saying “I’m 43. If I see 50, I’ll be happy. I mean that.”
Longtime friend and Eleven Seven International Managing Director Dan Waite revealed she’d left a voicemail on his phone hours before she died, saying she detailed “how much she loved Bad Wolves’ version of ‘Zombie” and said she was looking forward to “seeing me in the studio”.
