Dr. Martens continues to celebrate Britain’s illustrious musical legacy. Last year the brand collaborated with New Order and Joy Division on a series of boots. Now the iconic shoe brand has unveiled their latest collaboration with seminal punk act Sex Pistols.
The Sex Pistols collection features three different shoes (1490 boots, 1460 boots, and 1461 shoes) emblazoned with lyrics from ‘Pretty Vacant.’ As Pitchfork notes, the boots were inspired by designer Jamie Reid, who designed the album artwork for the band’s only studio album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols.
