Duff McKagan rejoined Guns n’ Roses last week – but alas only for four songs. On Thursday night at London’s O2 Arena where Gunners started typically late, Duff casually walked on stage during ‘You Could Be Mine’ playing bass, before switching to rhythm guitar for ‘Nice Boys’ and ‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’, while during the encore number, ‘Patience’, he joined in on tambourine. Apparently the ‘reunion’ was unplanned and came about because Axl was staying at the same hotel as Duff, who was making a racket in his room. Alas due to the animosity between Axl and Slash it seems a full band reunion is unlikely.
