Dune Rats have premiered a new mini-documentary overnight on their YouTube channel titled Aussie Pub Rock Lives On Forever.

The documentary was filmed during the band’s recent Hurry Up And Wait Aussie tour, sharing the title of their 2020 album of the same name.

It all kicks off with a very loose voicemail from a fan, paying tribute to the Dune Rats and calling them his “brothers”. It’s the same voicemail that starts the album.

Then we see plenty of reel of live shows, interviews, and behind the scenes footage of the tour. There’s chats with their road crew as well, with sound engineers and others sharing their thoughts on how the band has developed over the years.

Members of their touring support acts TOTTY, Dear Seattle and Ruby Fields also share insights about what it’s like being on tour with the Dunies.

The title of the documentary is a reference to their album’s final track, ‘Mountains Come and Go But Aussie Pub Rock Lives On (Forever)’.
