Out in Australia for the East and West Coast Blues and Roots Festivals in April, Elvis Costello has announced intimate theatre shows in Melbourne and Sydney. Back in the country for the first time since his last visit in 2009, Costello will be featuring songs from his T-Bone Burnett produced alt-country album National Ransom. Costello’s amazing body of work ranges from the spiky punk pop of his youth through to his middle aged balladeering and collaborations with many of his musical influences. Snap up tickets for these shows – they won’t last.
Tuesday 19th April – The State Theatre, Sydney
Thursday 21st April – Palais Theatre, Melbourne
Tickets on sale Tuesday 25th January.
