You’re not the only one who has to look up the lyrics on Google to figure out what Eminem and Lil Wayne are spitting, as both of the rappers admit that they look up their lyrics to avoid repeating them on new material.

Even the kings of rap themselves have both mentioned that Google is quite a handy dandy tool for them as they both Google their own song lyrics before writing any new material so they don’t mistakenly spit the same lyrics again.

The pair of famed rappers chatted in the most recent episode of Lil Wayne’s Young Money Radio where they discussed the difficulties of being in the rapping business for so long, which saw the legendary  Eminem mention that you “start getting to the point where you[‘ve] rapped about everything, you rhymed every word there is to rhyme. Considering Eminem once rhymed the un-rhymable word ‘orange’ with 11 different words and phrases, he might be right with that statement.

“I literally have to Google my lyrics to make sure I didn’t say certain stuff,” Lil Wayne detailed, causing Eminem to respond with, “Oh my God, I swear to God, I do that too!”

Lil Wayne chucked it up to be a fault of working in the industry for so long, adding that if “you go to my Safari [history], it’s gonna be ‘Lil Wayne lyrics’.”

With both of the rappers having massive discographies, it’s no wonder they have to look up their own lyrics to ensure they haven’t went on the same spiels before. Eminem currently has eleven studio albums, not including his many singles and compilation albums, and Lil Wayne has twelve albums under his belt, it’s clear as to why they feel the need to Google their lyrics before writing up new material, especially considering how many words they manage to rap into each song.
