Everyone’s favourite dad rapper Eminem made a surprise performance at the Oscars, and a few people weren’t impressed, including Martin Scorsese.
The rapper took to the stage for a performance of his award-winning track ‘Lose Yourself’, which is from the film 8 Mile.
As the performance was occurring, the camera cut to the crowd of Hollywood stars, with the majority rapping along with the lyrics. A few however, made some viral moments with their reactions.
At one stage, The Irishman creator Martin Scorsese – who is nominated for Best Director – was shown looking extremely bored.
Viewers reacted to the moment accordingly on social media with one believing that Scorsese had actually fallen asleep.

Martin Scorsese falling asleep was a priceless moment of the Oscars, and of course he had his daughter next to him looking bewildered as to what on Earth was happening onstage.
Idina Menzel was another highlight of the night, trying her very best to get into the performance of ‘Lose Yourself’.
Eminem’s appearance comes after the release of his surprise album Music to Be Murdered By. He was announced by Hamilton star Anthony Ramos.

For the second year running, the Oscars will have no presenter.
Nominations-wise, Joker leads this year’s pack with 11, while The Irishman and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood follow close behind with 10.
In recent Eminem news, the rapper recently got into more of a rivalry with longtime diss-track-maker and enemy Nick Cannon. Cannon took to an interview to say that the rapper was the product of institutional racism.
