One of the most hyped tours of the year is set to be announced on Sunday  – Eminem’s Australian tour. While rumours have been flying thick and fast  about the tour for several weeks now, Tone Deaf now has dates and venues for the tour.

While we can’t 100 per cent guarantee these are definite, we have heard the same venues and dates from a number of different sources so we’re pretty confident that they are those which will be announced. We can reveal that Eminem will be bringing his D 12 posse out with him and be playing at on December 1st at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne and on the 2nd of December at Sydney Football Stadium in Sydney.

It appears that the Big Day Out pulled out of the running, with rumours that Eminem’s agent and manager were wanting $1 Million per show. These dates would indicate that he was beyond the talent budget of the Big Day Out and that they only way promoters could make a profit was with stadium shows.

The supports are supposedly Lil Wayne, who previously collaborated with the Recovery star, Royce Da 5’9 and Hilltop Hoods. ‘Lil Wayne is also likely to be causing promoters a nightmare on what will be his first tour down under, with his recent release from jail on charges of drug and weapons possession.

That charge saw him spend eight months picking up the soap in the Rikers Island Prison in New York City, certain to have the Immigration Department closely examining his visa application.
