A while back we showed you what Tool would sound like if their music was played with actual tools, and we wondered just what could top that performance. Well today, our questions have been answered as we are able to bear witness to Guns N’ Roses being played by, you guessed it, actual guns and roses.
Bassist and YouTuber Davie504 has a penchant for taking music to strange new places. In between recording videos of bass solos played without strings, and playing instruments that defy belief, he also enjoys showing what music would sound like if it was played a little too literally.
We’ve now managed to see him play a small selection of Guns N’ Roses riffs on bass guitar using only a gun to pluck the strings, and a rose for various percussive sounds. While you might think this would sound pretty ridiculous, it’s actually not bad, and would just seem like any other musician playing along to Gun N’ Roses’ songs if you listened to it without the video.
