Melbourne-based alt-pop favourites Halcyon Drive have just recently wrapped up an East Coast tour to coincide with the unveiling of their new single ‘Untethered’ – the second track lifted from their forthcoming EP (due for release May 2016).
Recorded with producer Steve Schram (San Cisco, Eagle & The Worm) in a makeshift studio in the Otways National Park, Victoria during late 2015. Their latest cut is beautifully laced with infectious hooks; sonically reminiscent of indie-rock favourites, Foals, Mutemath and Bombay Bicycle Club.
To celebrate the release of the new single, the guys caught up with fellow Aussie music heroes Remi and Joyride, both of whom gave the Halcyon some very important life and style advice. Check out the incredibly funning interactions below. for more info check out the bands Facebook page for forthcoming shows and releases.
